There is an old Celtic and European village custom whereby coloured ribbon tied to the central tree in the town square with an accompanying wish for a couple or new baby would be a symbol of the universes ability to deliver that promise. In an intimate ceremony focussed on a very unique, creative and truly inspiration couple guests tied their wishes to the Crypus tree planted by the bride’s fatherĀ in the central garden of this amazing Fremantle home. As a marriage celebrant, knowing the couple and their family makes a ceremony particularly special but Sarah and Richard have the sort of relationship that we all wish for – one filled with humour, honesty and integrity and this applies equally to their friendships and family. The latter typified when the groom’s friend broke into song while reading Leonard Cohen’s Dance Me to the End of Love. This was one afternoon that will stay with me for a very long time. Thank you for letting me be part of it!
